GRADUATION REFLECTIONS
In cap and gown both sight and sound
Are caught up in the past;
The host of friends, the sweetheart pins,
School spirit hard and fast.
When years have flown and we have grown
And time has made her mark,
We’ll tune our ear to a distant cheer
And to memory’s voice we’ll hark.
From far away in a bygone day
The sound of muffled drums,
The marching band, the cheering stands,
The love of old school chums
Will fill our lives, renew our drives
And bright up our day.
We’ll breathe a prayer because we care
For joys along the way.
So as we stand and receive in hand
This diploma for our work
May God above look down in love
And keep memory’s eye alert.
