Many of your religious neighbors believe in the "Rapture", the return of our Lord to the earth to set up His "thousand year reign". The Bible does not teach that such an event will take place. In fact, the word "rapture " is not found anywhere in the Bible. Christ will never again set foot on this earth. We will meet Him in the clouds. But, He is coming back!

He will, of a certainty, come back

Jesus will come -- John 14:1-3

The angel said He will come -- Revelation 1:1-7

We should be patient -- James 1:7

We shall be like Him -- I John 3:2

He shall be revealed -- I Peter 1:13

We must look for His coming -- Philippians 3:20

How Shall He Come?

He will come personally -- Acts 1:11

With a shout-suddenly -- I Thessalonians 4:16; 5:2

Visible to all -- Revelation 1:7

All will hear His voice -- John 5:28

As a thief in the night -- II Peter 3:10

With holy angels -- Matthew 25:31

When Will He Come?

Only the Father knows -- Matthew 24:36

Unexpectedly -- I Thessalonians 5:2-3

Before judgment -- Matthew 25: 31-46

At the last trump -- I Corinthians 15:51f

What Else Will Happen?

All will be resurrected -- John 5: 28-29

All people will be judged -- John 12:48; Revelation 20

The elements will be dissolved -- II Peter 3:10-13

The saints will be glorified -- Colossians 3:2-4

Why Is He Coming Again?

To execute judgment -- Jude 15

To raise the dead -- John 5:28-29

Reward all per their works -- II Corinthians 5:10

To deliver the kingdom up to God -- I Corinthians 15:24ff

Don't worry - you and I will be there.
We will stand before God to be judged by the word of Christ!

We will be judged by the Word.

"Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity" (Matthew 7:22-23). Many millions will be surprised to hear the Lord condemn them because they did not follow His Word. Will you be one of those? I hope not!
