GRADUATION OR COMMENCEMENT?
What now? Graduation is so often viewed as
terminal, the end of an era, the finished product of knowledge.
Commencement, however, recognizes a milestone has been achieved on the
road of life. The difference then is an attitude.
Have you fulfilled all
that you desire to accomplish? Or, are you now better prepared for all
that can be accomplished in life? Are you finished, or are you just now
beginning? The every day continual learning of the classroom has
provided you with "a greenhouse" ability to grow strong, but
today should not be the end of your learning. Everyday you live will
provide new thoughts and practical lessons.
Life is the largest school of all. What you have learned in the
classroom will be of considerable benefit in the school of life. No one
ever can have too much education. Most of our education comes from our
early childhood. Our parents taught us from the time we knew nothing and
gave us the tools of learning that have carried us through the formal
school years. Just so life will offer additional education every day.
Just because you know something, don’t confuse that to mean you know
everything. The greatest tool in learning is the realization of how
little one knows. The tragedy of learning is the failure to apply that
knowledge.
HAVE YOU FINISHED,
OR ARE
YOU JUST NOW COMMENCING TO BEGIN?
