• Jesus was weary from His journey (v.6)

• Jesus ask her to give Him a drink of water (v.7)
Reason:
• His disciples had gone into the city to buy food (v.8)
Reaction:
• She asked Him how is it that He as a Jew asked her a Samaritan woman as the Jews had no dealing with the Samaritans

• Jesus said if she knew the gift of God and who spoke to her she would have asked him and He would have given her living water

• Jesus told her those who drink of this water will thirst but those who drink of the water He gives will never thirst again

III. JESUS IN GALILEE

• Jesus said "a prophet hath no honor in his own country" (v.44)
• The Galileans received Him because of what they had seen at Jerusalem (v.45)
Event:
• Jesus goes to Cana (v.46)
• A nobleman came to Him whose son was sick and at the point of death (v.46,47)
• Jesus said, " except ye see signs and wonders ye will not believe" (v.48)
• Jesus said, "go thy way thy son liveth and the man believed" (v.49,50)
• The nobleman's servants met him and told him his son liveth (v.51)
• When the nobleman found out the hour was the same when Jesus told him to go and when his son's fever left, he believed
(v.51-53)
• This was the second miracle when He was come out of Judea into Galilee (v.54)
