Nicodemus is introduced (vv.
1-2).

Jesus and John the Baptist Baptize (vv.22-23).
After talking to Nicodemus, Jesus and His disciples go into the land of Judaea.
While there he tarries with His disciples and baptized.
John was baptizing in Aenon near to Salim.
Because there was much water there. (v.23).
John the Baptist speaks of Christ (vv.
24-36).
John's disciples tell him that the one to whom he bore witness was baptizing and all men come to him.
(v.26).

John says that the one who has the bride is the bridegroom.
The friend of the bridegroom:
