Introduction.
1. One of the most exciting stories in the Bible is recorded in
John 11 — the
resurrection of Lazarus.
2. One should attempt to place himself among the crowd of mourners and imagine
the great scene.

4. In this lesson, let us examine several significant points concerning Jesus’
resurrection and the subsequent resurrection of all men that deserve out
attention.
Body.
I. The Death And Resurrection Of Jesus Was Prophesied.
F. The death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus was more than an afterthought
due to an aborted mission as some men claim today -
Revelation 13:8.
II. Several Proof’s Of Jesus’ Resurrection.
A. The fact that an empty tomb exists, provides quite a problem for the infidel.
B. There are four possibilities for the absence of Jesus’ body.
1. Jesus did not really die.
2. Jesus’ enemies stole His body.
3. Jesus’ friends stole His body.
4. Jesus rose from the grave.
III. The Importance Of Jesus’ Resurrection
Conclusion.
1. Without the resurrection of Jesus, there would be no resurrection for anyone.
2. By His life, we are assured eternal life.
3. By His resurrection, we are assured our own resurrection.
4. The question that remains for us to answer today is not, will we be raised,
but unto what shall we be raised -
John 5:28-29.
