Acts 2:38. Notice also, "And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord." Acts 22:16. Baptism is an ImmersionIt is also important to note that baptism is an immersion and not simply sprinkling or pouring. The word "baptism" literally means immersion. Therefore, to sprinkle or pour is not the same as being baptized. |
