This Page Has Moved!

God's will is that we should all to be saved.
II Peter 3:9 - "The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish..."

To accomplish this saving, he sent his son to be our savior.
John 3:16 - "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son..."

What a great message!

However, though it is "true" (it is scripture), we did not get God's full intent.  We can't take the first part of the thought without the remainder.  To do so would be false and deceptive.  Here is the rest of the thought:

Hearing God's Word, we need to believe
John 3:18 concludes - "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

And let that belief lead us to action:

Repent (turn from our sin)
II Peter 3:9 concludes - "The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance."
Luke 13:3 Warns - "...except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish."

Confess that Jesus is God's son
Romans 10:10 - "...with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."

Be Baptized
Acts 22:16 Like Paul, we need to - "...arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord."

God's will is that we should all be saved, but he says that we have to be willing to do what he tells us.  Will you make your will his by following his word so that he can bless you with salvation?  Please let us know if we can help you do so.
