You are still living.

Spiritually

Your sin continues to separate you from God, but you are on your next step to removing it.  Hearing God's plan to save us from our sin, you have come to believe God, and that Jesus is His Son.  In John 8:24 Jesus tells us, "I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins."
