Adulthood or Age of AccountabilityGJCOC.com Home Salvation Our Mission Contact Us PhysicallyPhysically and socially you may not have reached "adulthood". However, you have reached an age where you are mentally developed enough that you can understand the meaning of sin. Therefore, you are accountable for your sin.
SpirituallyBy this point in your life, you will have been tempted and sinned against God. Your sin has separated you from God. You are spiritually dead.
More StudyGod has no sin. "This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all." (1 John 1:5)
We do. "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23) "If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us." (1 John 1:8) "If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us." (1 John 1:10)
Therefore, our sin stands between us and God.
Ways to ExitOption 1: Accept that there is a God, a creator, and search for him. Option 2: Reject the evidence of God and live a self oriented life. |
